About Scot
Scot Henry is the bass player for Cherry & James, joining the band as its newest — and most road-tested — member. Based in Springfield, Missouri, Scot brings decades of experience, musical intuition, and a deep respect for the craft that only comes from thousands of nights on stage.
A 12-year founder of the popular Ozarks group The Dirty Saints, Scot has spent much of his life on the road, playing up to 235 days a year across an eight-state region. Along the way, he’s recorded in Nashville, filled in with Member’s Only, and spent the last eight years playing with the Northpoint Church Worship Band. His journey has taken him everywhere from packed venues to long nights sleeping in bars, cars, and under the stars — all in service of the music.
For Scot, music isn’t just something he does — it’s his life, his passion, and his therapy. That lived-in perspective brings both steadiness and soul to Cherry & James, grounding the band’s sound with experience, feel, and a hunger for the next great chapter.
